How Do We Get To Maine?

We are so excited that so many of you will be joining us in Maine for the wedding weekend from out of town! If you plan to fly we recommend first checking flights to the Portland International Jetport (make sure you are searching for Portland, MAINE not Oregon!). The Jetport is conveniently located to downtown Portland and Kennebunkport is a 25 minute drive south. You can also fly into Boston Logan International Airport, which often has cheaper and a wider variety of flight options. From Boston, Kennebunkport is about a 2 hour drive north. The Colony Hotel

The Colony is an picturesque New England hotel overlooking the ocean in Kennebunkport. They offer a variety of room types, and we highly recommend this hotel for its convenience to the Old Port, the ocean views, and pool. While they do not offer room blocks, they do have plenty of availability. This is also where we will be having our welcome party on Friday evening.

King's Port Inn

We have a block of rooms available from Thursday-Sunday at the Kings Port Inn in downtown Kennebunkport. Please call and ask for Colleen to reserve this block at a rate of $179 per night, using Cadigan/McDermott. Block is available until June 7.

Kennebunkport Home Rentals

For those of you with larger families or groups of friends who would prefer to stay in a home rather than a hotel, we've curated a list of VRBO vacation rental homes that are located near to the Port. Some of these properties require a minimum night stay, so we would recommend working directly with the hosts if you'd prefer a shorter stay. We've found many are open to shortening the minimums if asked nicely!

Downtown Portland

If you prefer an urban Maine experience, you are also welcome to stay in downtown Portland. The biggest city in Maine, Portland is "part hipster, part prepster, with an old-world-meet-modern vibe." While most of our wedding weekend events will be based out of Kennebunkport, we understand that the quaint New England charm may not be your style! Portland is about a 30 minute drive north of Kennebunkport and is about a 15 minute Uber from the Beech Ridge Barn. There are numerous hotels you can choose from in the Portland area, but we recommend the Press Hotel and the Westin Portland Harborview. Please note that hotel options in Portland for the weekend of our wedding are quite expensive. Lower cost options are available near the Maine Mall and Portland Jetport if you prefer!
