There are 2 airports that we recommend for flying into Vail: Denver International Airport and Eagle/Vail Airport. Denver International Airport is 110 miles East of the Vail Valley and is about a 2 hour drive. Eagle Vail Airport is 27 miles West of Vail Valley on Interstate 70 and during the summer is serviced by United Express only.

Uber and Lyft are unreliable in the Vail Valley, however the town is very walkable and has city buses that run typically between 6:00am-11pm. These buses are free.
