Wedding Party

Meet our family and friends who are walking down the isle with us and some of our favorite memories together!

Gabrielle Motta

Maid of Honor

Gabby knew Paige ever since they were little and they grew up around the corner from each other. Even though Gabby was in the class below, they became good friends in high school. Her favorite memory of Paige was at her cabin back when they first started college. They kayaked around the pond together to an area covered in lily pads then hung out in a clear area of the woods. They talked about so much then, what they want to do in the future, Paige wanting to write a book, how excited they were for college, and debating walking miles to the ice cream shop. Looking back, that day captured everything about their friendship: easygoing, familiar, fun, and comfortable.

Chase Woodward

Best Man

When not shattering his ankle on a tree branch in the woods, Chase is an engineer working in biotech, who likes big rocks and board games. Chase and David met on the first day of College at WPI. From then on, they spent basically all of college together playing smash bros, going on late night Wendy's trips, bouldering, and going on impromptu hikes. If Chase had to describe his relationship with David in one experience, it would be during senior year, when they bought a blow up mattress to use a sled on campus (since it was cheaper than a sled). The mattress immediately popped after launching off a jump, and they were left sliding down Boynton hill on what was left of it all the while in agony. They then went back to their dorm, made hot chocolate, and watched football.

Alison Borges

Bridesmaid

A devoted artist and full-time curator, Ally met Paige during their first year at BCC, when neither of them knew anyone. Ally still remembers spotting Paige in a Greta Van Fleet shirt and instantly knowing they’d be best friends, and the rest is history. One of her favorite memories is the day Paige showed up to class in an all-black leather outfit, proving once and for all that the ultimate flower child did, in fact, own black (still her most iconic look to date). Ally cherishes their long studio nights and “drawing nights” fueled by wine, laughter, and endless art critiques that only made them stronger creatives and friends. She’s incredibly proud of Paige and feels so lucky to witness her marry the same crush she once talked about back at BCC.

Anthony Morgado

Groomsman

A passionate engineer in the medical device industry. Anthony first met David back in elementary school during a Cub Scouts event. Their real friendship began in high school, where they bonded over Drafting class and blasting bass boosted music while working on their senior projects. One of Anthony’s fondest memories is when David visited Anthony at Cumberland Farms after David’s shift at Dunkin’ Donuts. David would jump in to help Anthony take out the trash, clean up the coffee bar, and front the products on the shelves. He did all of this in exchange for leftover pizza and roller‑grill hot dogs that would have ended up being thrown out. After Anthony’s shift ended, the two of them would head over to the Smiley’s house to drink milk and watch funny meme videos. This became a nightly ritual for several summers after they graduated high school. Anthony was proud when David finally started dating Paige, and he’s even prouder now knowing David is marrying his soulmate.

Bianca Laslo

Bridesmaid

Bianca works as a Social Media Coordinator and Designer, but her true passion has always been illustration, which is how she first connected with Paige. From BCC to UMass, their friendship was shaped by long days in the studio spent drawing and talking endlessly. One of Bianca’s favorite memories with Paige comes from their time at UMass during a bronze casting project. In true Paige fashion, she designed a whimsical piece, much larger than the assigned dimensions, that emerged as a massive, heavy, and beautiful sculpture. Of course, it needed a patina… and the help of a propane torch. Bianca remembers helping Paige finish the piece in the loading dock of the art building, where Paige bravely (fearfully) attempted to wield the blowtorch, panicking and flailing just enough to make it unforgettable. The result was a stunning bronze sculpture, and a clear realization that while Paige is an incredible artist, she may not be destined for pyrotechnics. Bianca cherishes all the creative chaos shared with Paige, and wishes her a marriage filled with love, laughter, ducks, and many adventures, where David is officially in charge of all fire-related tasks.

Alex Rebello

Groomsman

Alex works in life sciences as a Product Manager, and when he’s not at work, you can usually find him deep into fantasy football or out on the tennis courts. He’s known David and Paige for over a decade, since their days at Dighton‑Rehoboth High. Alex and David both attended WPI as well. Some of Alex’s favorite memories with David and Paige come from summers at the cottage—celebrating the 4th of July, hopping on the party boat, and tubing out on the lake. He’s honored to stand with them on their wedding day. .

Talbia Heineman

Bridesmaid

Bia is a healthcare educator and has recently taken up hand crocheting. While there are many great times spent with Paige, including but not limited to the various cruises, sleepovers, and movie marathons, Bia’s favorite has to be the time Paige won hide and seek by hiding in the washing machine under dirty laundry. Bia looked for what seemed like an hour, until eventually she had to give up and Paige was finally able to come out, sweaty and tired but still very joyous. Paige’s commitment to her hiding spot is still no match for her commitment and efforts towards her friends and family. You could not find a better friend than Paige and Bia is grateful to have her in her life.

James Heineman

Groomsman

James is a fellow WPI engineer and has been friends with David since they were on the same floor freshman year of college. James and David slowly lost their minds together on Nantucket for a study abroad project. In between trying to save the overpopulation crisis on the island, James and David would play football, cards, and take long walks on the beach at night together. A top moment from the time on the island was when David flipped head first over the handlebars of his bicycle into oncoming traffic. But what James admires most about David, is how he always picks himself back up. Just like he did off that Nantucket pavement.

Liz DiRuzza

Bridesmaid

Liz is a Mechanical Engineer II who designs parts for Navy ships and wind turbines. She loves everything that is nerdy but also has a creative and artistic side! She attended WPI at the same time as David, but their paths never crossed while at school. Liz met David and Paige through her boyfriend, Jeff. One of her favorite memories with Paige was going on a camping trip to Assateague island! Going hunting for ghost crabs on the beach by moonlight, and then chasing sand crabs in the waves by day, all while watching the wild horses along the island felt magical! Liz is so grateful for the friendship that has blossomed with Paige and David through weekly D&D and twin peak nights. She is honored to be apart of their big day and celebrate their love alongside them!

Jeffrey Botelho

Groomsman

Jeff is in the engineering field working as a junior structural engineer, and enjoys all things nerdy. He met David and Paige during their high school years, becoming lifelong friends. Jeff spent around 3 years living with David after college. One of his favorite memories with David is their boardwalk boys lunch in Assateauge. There's just something about making sandwiches in a parking spot out of a van that just hits different. Oh, and who could forget the countless rounds of Big Buck Hunter in the arcades. Some truly unforgettable memories throughout the years. He's incredibly proud and honored to be part of David and Paige's wedding, two wonderful souls who are truly made for one another.

Maddie Boulay

Bridesmaid

Maddie is in the medical field working as a PA, and she loves everything having to do with the ocean! She and Paige met while Maddie’s fiancé was living with David after they graduated college. Maddie spent the entire day painting the room in David’s house before they had even met! Her favorite memory of Paige is the first cruise they went on together when a monkey tried to steal Paige’s necklace!

Jonathan Barr

Groomsman

Jon is a facade engineer in Greater Boston, and can typically be found enjoying football or a good round of Powerwash Simulator. Jon met David while on his junior year project, in which they were on the same project team in Nantucket. Some of Jon’s favorite memories with David include a week plus long adventure in Iceland, as well as watching David sled down Boynton hill in a garbage bag (and it going as well as you’d expect).

Casey Bennett

Bridesmaid

Casey Bennett lives in the Hudson Valley, where she enjoys spending time outdoors, going to concerts, and playing board games. She’s known Paige for nearly a decade through her husband, Jacob (Paige’s cousin). Physical distance makes get togethers sporadic but every reunion with Paige feels like an instant pick up where we left off kind of joy. One of Casey’s favorite things about Paige is how genuinely excited she is to jump into whatever’s happening she’s endlessly welcoming, game for anything, and her positivity and laugh are completely contagious. Casey’s favorite memories with Paige almost always involve overnight visits, where the slumber-party chit-chat goes late, the vibes are immaculate, and the time together is pure comfort and fun.

John Amaral

Groomsman

John met David at WPI, as they were on the same floor freshman year and lived together for their junior and senior years. He met Paige a few times when she visited David on campus, before she and David started dating, and became friends with her since. His favorite memories of the lovely couple include shopping at the local store for too much dairy to cook with, wearing banana hats on their heads, and cruising the Caribbean together!

Maggie Bennett

Bridesmaid

Maggie lives in Syracuse New York with her fiancé Harrison and two children Haywood (3) and Gillian (1). She works on her fiancé's family flower farm and garden cafe and is currently getting her yoga teacher certification. Maggie is also Paigey's cousin and while it would be hard for her to choose one favorite memory, as there are so many, she loves to reminisce about the vacations they took with their families to the beaches of Assateague Island in Maryland. Remembering swimming in the ocean, collecting shells, watching the wild horses, running from the bugs, sharing stories under the starry nights and crab hunting frequently make her heart sing. There’s so much to love about Paige, but the thing she loves best are the unforgettable memories they make every time they get together!

Ian Smiley

Groomsman

A research associate in the life sciences field, Ian has known David ever since middle school. During that fateful day, Ian was getting ready to head home when the kid with the bowl cut across from him pushed his backpack off the desk. Sure enough, that kid was David and ever since the words "hey, stop that" left Ian's mouth, they were fast friends. From playing recreational soccer to the long nights filled with video games, from the adventure filled summer vacations to the simple days playing cards at school that the teachers called "gambling," the two have always been close and remain so to this day. Ian was elated when his best friend first fell for his sister and showed how much he cherished her. Hoping that their days are filled with laughter and love, Ian wishes them the best.
