Winner Creek Trail Alyeska Trailhead
This is an INCREDIBLE easy hike! You walk along a beautiful river, see waterfalls, and get to pull yourself in a hand tram across a river! Trailhead starts at Alyeska Resort in Girdwood (ski town 45 minutes south of Anchorage). This is one of the must go to towns when visiting Alaska. The drive along the Seward Highway is MAGIC! Hit up the Bake Shop while in Girdwood or take the tram to the top of the mountain for unreal views and an appetizer and drink! All info can be accessed through Alyeska Resort!
Moose's Tooth Pub & Pizzeria
#2 pizza place in the nation! The beer, root beer, and cream soda are all incredible as well! They don't take reservations and the wait can be long, but its all worth it.
Alaska Zoo
Cool to see Alaskan animals! Polar bears included!
Humpy's Great Alaskan Alehouse
Fun bar downtown and a great place to get some good Alaskan seafood!
Flattop / Glen Alps Trailhead Parking
Great/easy hike! Incredible views. Even just driving up to the parking lot and walking around the trail is worth it!
Kaladi Brothers Coffee
For my coffee lovers! THIS PLACE IS A MUST GO! Kaladi Brothers has incredible coffee. There are locations all over town. If you buy a drip coffee, you can get free refills at any location all day long. YES. PLEASE!

An easy little hike to a beautiful waterfall! Just a 15 minute drive north of Anchorage.

Paige's first summer in Alaska, they went to every souvenir shop possible. Trapper Jack's by far has the best options for the best prices! Whenever friends come into town, this is the location we take them to for all souvenir shopping!
Coastal Trail - Elderberry Park
An incredible view and a beautiful easy walk! On a clear day you can see Mt. Denali!
Bread and Brew
SOOO tasty! This place is one of our all time favorite restaurants! Their grilled cheese sandwiches are creative and delicious and the beer is awesome too! Lots of great options. Truffle fries are a must try as well!
Earthquake Park/Point Woronzof
An incredible view on a clear day! Right by Earthquake Park which is also an awesome walk/way to learn a little more about the 1964 earthquake and how it affected Alaska.
Snow City Cafe
A highly recommended cafe to eat at in downtown Anchorage! Delicious food! You can make reservations online which is highly recommended.
Eklutna Lake
Eklutna Lake is BEAUTIFUL place to just drive to and spend some time walking around or go kayaking! A little north of Anchorage.
