Like all romantic love stories begin, we met on social media. We enjoyed our first date steps away from Kinnick Stadium, at Stellas. Paige may have spilled ranch on her face, but somehow Craiton still asked her for a second, third, and fourth date. After graduating, we both moved to the Lone Star State for Paige to attend graduate school at Texas A&M and Craiton to work in downtown Austin. We spent two years in the land of ice-cold Shinerbock, barbeque, and way too many “howdy”s and “yall”s. In the summer of 2019, we moved once again to Charlotte, North Carolina where we currently live and love. In October 2019, Craiton pulled off the biggest surprise and proposed on the steps of the Old Capital in Iowa City—the place where it all began. Twitter may have brought us together, but our love of the Iowa Hawkeyes, Zac Brown Band, pizza, and craft beers has kept us together. We are so excited for this next adventure as husband and wife, and we cannot wait for the best day of our lives with our favorite people! -Paige & Craiton
