Coach Bus – Anchorage to Seward
Book a 3 hour coach bus ride from Anchorage to Seward via The Park Connection. This is a great option if you are not comfortable driving, or want a laid-back travel experience. The journey offers breathtaking views of Alaska’s landscapes, and you may even see Dall sheep, eagles, and Beluga whales! Please check current schedules (7 a.m. and 3 p.m. departures) and fares ($80).

Alaska Railroad – Anchorage to Seward
The train leaves quite early, you may want to consider spending the night in Anchorage — the perfect excuse to have an extra day of adventure! This 4-1/2 hour picturesque train ride is one of the most scenic in Alaska. Please check current schedules (6:45 a.m. departure) and fares ($133).

Red Eye Rides — Anchorage to Seward
At the airport, you have the option to take a shuttle to Seward (2-1/2 hour ride) with drop offs at Breeze Inn, Hotel Seward, and Harbor 360 Hotel (and more, check list). Please check current schedules (8:30 a.m., 3 p.m. & 11:30 p.m. departures) and fares ($125).

Rent a Car
At the airport, you have the option to rent a car and drive to Seward (2-1/2 hours). Be sure to book well in advance, as availability can be limited during the summer season. We recommend driving during daylight hours to enjoy this gorgeous, winding route and stop at the many stunning viewpoints along the way!
