Nearby activities include horse riding, golfing, canoeing and kayak and spa facilities.
In close proximity are a number of pretty villages such as La Gacilly, the home of Yves Rocher, and its botanical gardens, Loheac, famous for its classic car museum, Rochefort-en-Terre, with its cobbled streets and half-timbered houses, and the animated harbour of La Roche Bernard.
The family beaches of Pénestin and Damgan are renowned for their seafood and propose visits to the oyster beds, whereas La Baule (43 miles) offers a more lively atmosphere.
A number of golf courses are in proximity including the reputed course of “La Bretesche”.
Some activities include canoeing-kayak, rock climbing, guided walks, and donkey rides. Beauty treatments and massages are available at the Chateau or the nearby Yves Rocher Spa.
