We’ll get married someday!

It truly has been. We have been blending families (including three daughters, three dogs and one cat!) And both of us have made big changes professionally. Kristen left Duke and spent six months at school in Boulder, so we got to try out a long distance relationship! And Tom is on sabbatical, which gives him plenty of time to plan a wedding while Kristen starts a business. Luckily, we've managed some wonderful trips in between, including Hawaii, the beach, and South Africa. Tom proposed after Kristen's graduation in March, with a delightful (says Kristen) poem in the style of Dr. Seuss - PLEASE ask him to share this! (That's Kristen speaking again -- Tom read the poem when he proposed and has hidden it away since.) And now we're very excited to dance, eat and drink and celebrate at a fantastic party with you all in April (a small ceremony will be included!)
