The Morgan Resort and Spa

We have rooms reserved at the Morgan Resort and Spa from February 3rd to February 7th. After the wedding, you are welcome to extend your stay at the hotel or join Chris and I on the French side of the island. We will be staying on Orient Bay Beach for the remainder of the trip (please reach out separately to Chris or I with questions about this). To book your room please e-mail Sabrina at slaurence@themorganresort.com and use code CCWE22 with your room preference. Once she has received your arrival, departure dates and room preference then she will send you a confirmation letter with a CC form attached for payment processing All reservations must be made by January 1st. If you are not planning to get a rental car, the hotel provides a complimentary shuttle service to and from the airport as part of their daily service fee. When booking your hotel room you can also make a reservation for the shuttle to pick you up. They will have you confirm your airline, flight #, pick up time, and location.

Ceremony & Reception

February 4, 2022 3:30 pm - 10:30 pm

A shuttle will be departing between 3:30-3:45 from the Morgan Resort to transport guests to the wedding. There will be a return shuttle at the end of the event.

A shuttle will be departing between 11:30-11:45 from the Morgan Resort to the Loterie Farm. There will be a return shuttle at the end of the event.

Transportation Information

We recommend that you get a rental car if you want to tour the island and have more freedom to come and go as you please. Public transportation is not well established and taxis can be expensive. However, if you do not plan on getting a rental car, there are options for taxi services. I will provide the taxi service that we recommend below. St. Maarten/St.Martin currently does not have Uber or Lyft services. I have listed a few rental car companies that are in close proximity to the airport. It is recommended to get the insurance on your rental car. There have been thefts of rental cars in the past on SXM. Also, local drivers to SXM can be hasty and accidents are not uncommon.
