Matron of Honor
I “officially” met Brittany in an Anthropology class. We instantly clicked and would hang out after class. I was in need of new friends as God had shown me that the people I was surrounding myself around were not for me as I was for them. Brittany’s presence was a blessing. From the beginning, she was a loyal, candid, and supportive friend. I would like to think that by locking her in my house, I actually locked her position in my life as my best friend. Through her, I realized the true definition of a real friend. Someone who loves you for you: the imperfect, crazy, confused, wrong, angry, type A, blunt, and even hurt you. Brittany has lived some of my favorite memories with me and I cannot wait to create and share this love-filled memory with her!
Best Man
Best man....the BETTER man! There aren’t enough words to describe our bond we formed over the years. They say you can’t pick your family but I’m happy to call Kenny my brother. From the first time we met at Stillman College our freshman year we’ve been friends and have shared many memories, from marching in the band, being roommates, road trips, and etc. As we age, I’d like to say that he and I have become more “normal.” Unfortunately, I can’t make that statement and keep a straight face lol. However, I can say that I’m lucky that he’s put up with me all of these years. I’m glad my friend found true love and I’m honored to be apart of the journey! Congratulations Kenny and Brittany
Maid of Honor
Kindergarten. That is when Brittany and I began this beautiful journey. I’m truly blessed to have such a long-standing friendship. We’ve literally blossomed together. To say I’m proud of the flower she has become, is an understatement. I am so honored to be apart of this stage of my sister’s journey.

I first met Kenny in 2008 when I joined The Tyner Pride Marching Band. He played the tuba and I was on the drumline. Our drum and tuba breaks were legendary. Every day after school Kenny and myself along with a couple of our other friends would play basketball at the YMCA. Kenny and I became best friends around 2011 I would say. One thing that I feel brought us together was that we both grew up in church and at the time he was one of a few friends that I had that was really active in church. A couple of years down the line after our college days, he introduced me to Brittany. Now we are family. I am very excited and happy for the both of you and I appreciate you all letting me be apart of your big day. I love you both and congratulations.

Brittany and I met at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville in August of 2012, on my first day on campus. I was able to move in early thanks to a program that assisted and catered to minority students. My mentor was not able to attend the first event after moving in, and Brittany willingly took me in alongside her mentee. I am unsure of how we got so close honestly, but I do feel like she was heaven sent. She’s one of the most patient and humble people that I have encountered in life. I am grateful to have the opportunity to be a part of such a special day for an even more special person!

I met Brittany through my wife, Chicoya, which is her best friend. I knew I couldn’t get on Chicoya’s good side without Brittany’s approval. I think to this day, I’m still trying to earn her approval lol Kenny is Chicoya’s cousin and when I first met him, we became homies. He’s been a good friend of mine ever since. It’s an honor to stand to his side on their wedding day.

Brittany and I met through my job as an Esthetician in 2015. Since then, Brittany has been a very loyal client of mine and still comes in every two weeks. During those short 15 minutes every two weeks, we’ve managed to talk about any and everything. I can still remember the days leading up to her first date with Kenny! It’s not often that clients become such good, true friends of mine, so it’s such an honor to be a part of Brittany and Kenny’s special day.

I first met Kenny while I was in high school. We were both in the band back then. Years later we started working at Sprint together and he became one of my best friends. I remember the time he invited me over for one his Sunday family dinners. That’s when I realized who he was and what’s important to his life. Kenny is caring, thoughtful, and most of all funny as hell. I’m honored to be able to share this moment in his life. I would like to wish Kenny and Brittany the best marriage and many beautiful years together.

I met Kenny & Brittany through my Fiancé Richard who is really close friends with Kenny. Ever since we met, they have taken me in as a sister. They have been so supportive and always there to give good advice. I am so happy for these two, and I wish them nothing but life long happiness.

I met Kenny & Brittany on separate occasions: Kenny from way back in the day as young kids to again as adults and working together at Sprint. I met Brittany through my sister as they are in the same sorority. Now knowing both of them over the years they have become like family to me. I am extremely happy for these two love birds and in the words of the great Al Green, wish them “love & happiness”.

I met Brittany in 2016, where we both joined the illustrious Pi Omega chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha, Sorority Inc. Throughout this time we created a bond of sisterhood as for I am her front and she is my back. I don't remember the exact time I met Kenny but I remember the time when Brittany and Kenny sat in the car talking ALL night when we was supposed to be all bonding as sisters. In that moment our linesisters and I knew their love was real!! I am super excited to be apart of this union as I represent the 23 Capt0v8ing Pearls.

Wow!!! Kenny you’re an outstanding, unique man. A piece of a bond that has been strong for years through struggles, pain, worry, and doubt. Stillman is where we met and it’s a memory I will never forget. From the band field to the van wheels, from the cafe to 8th Ave. You’re a brother I never had and for that I am grateful. It seems like yesterday we were still up to the same childish silly stuff but as I’ve watched you grow over the past year, I’m proud to call you a mature young man…Thanks to Brittany lol. Love is something that can’t be taught and is hard to find and I am happy that you’ve found that TRUE love that you deserve. I wish you and Brittany the best. I pray that our bond remains loving, honest, and STURDY so that we may cherish moments like a FLEEZIN FURLY.

I met Brittany at my mom’s nail salon and we started talking about college the second or third time I seen her ever since she has been nothing but sweet and loving to me. She has always been so encouraging and pushed me to do so much better. I love you Brittany 💗

I had the pleasure of meeting Brittany freshman year of college. Brittany and my roommate were good friends so she was always around. I believe Brittany and I actually got closer by taking writing lab together. Brittany would come to the room with her yellow laptop and do homework, listen to all the r&b hits and laugh! We would plan when we would go eat and just live the college life! Being friends with Brittany was easy and our friendship grew and remained strong throughout and after college! Seeing Brittany and Kenny together is a great sight to see! Their love shines through and I wish you both nothing but success! My advise is to live life to the Fullest. When you live, live hard, when you love, love hard and when you laugh laugh hard but make sure you live, love, and laugh together!

I met Brittany when I was 6 at Senter School. She has bugged me ever since.
