Yes. Thank you for understanding, that our wedding will be adults only. However, children of immediate family invited will be noted on the invitations.
Is this a trick question? Our ceremony will start promptly at 4:30. Please make sure you arrive early to allow time for parking, walking over, and taking your seats!
We recommend parking in the free lot behind the Shadowland Ballroom (our reception venue). Note cars can stay here over night but must be moved by 10am on Sunday. If you are staying at the Silver Beach Hotel, you can park there too and walk on over.
All of our events are within walking distance of each other! Once you park at the reception venue, it's a short walk down to the Dune's Pavilion where our ceremony is being held. Note, a golf cart will be available for elderly guests. (see map above)
July 25th is the new deadline to book your room at the Silver Beach Hotel with the Hotel Block Rate! However we recommend booking as soon as you can as rooms are available on a first come first served basis.
Standard check in at the hotel is at 4pm. You can call the day of and see if they have any early checks available. However, since our ceremony begins at 4:30, please plan accordingly! You can always check in after the ceremony.
It is a 0.5 mile (10+ minute in heels) walk from the Hotel to the Dunes Pavilion where our ceremony is. It's doable, but you could also drive and park at the Shadowland reception parking lot (see above) and walk down to the ceremony spot from there!
Cocktail hour will follow the ceremony beginning at 5:30! It is a short walk from the ceremony venue to the reception venue.
We will be providing an open bar with liquor, beer, and wine for our guests to enjoy!
You are correct! The Silver Beach Carousel is a family favorite and is connected to the venue! We have exclusive private access to it from 6:00-6:30, so get your free rides in then, no tokens needed! After that, you can still enjoy the carousel until 8pm using tokens.

Heck no! We like to dance too! In fact, we hired an awesome party band, so make sure you bring your dancing shoes!
The bar closes at 11 and music stops at 11:30! Downtown St. Joseph has some great bars, that we can move the party to afterwards!
