General Introduction to the Area
We chose the Bonnet House because we wanted a location where people could easily stay nearby and walk to our wedding. Bonnet House is located on the Intracoastal and is flanked on both North and South sides by dozens of major/chain and cute/kitschy hotels for all budgets. Bonnet House's garden spans across the intracoastal and divides the two areas (this might make more sense if you look at it on google maps). However, Bonnet House has both a North entrance and South entrance. If you attempt to GPS/Google map Bonnet House, it will only map you to the North entrance. If you are planning on staying south of Bonnet House (like we are), please use the address 798 Breakers Ave, Fort Lauderdale Florida, to map your walk to the venue. Note that the South entrance is only a pedestrian entrance. In order to park at Bonnet House by car, you will need to drive to the North Entrance. Below we have some select hotels we recommend. For the most part, we like the area South of Bonnet House more than the North- but both areas are safe and easily accessible by car or walking. South of Bonnet House has a little more of a relaxed vibe, especially along Breakers Avenue with small juice bars, cafes, food trucks and so on.

Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL)
Guests should aim to fly into this airport as it is the most convenient to get into Fort Lauderdale. Approximately 15-30 minute Uber/Lyft ride to Fort Lauderdale Beach depending on traffic.

Miami International Airport (MIA)
This airport is much farther (approximately 40 min to 1 hour by car depending on traffic) from Fort Lauderdale Beach, however it can have much cheaper flights compared to FLL. May need to weigh inconveniences vs benefits.

This is the hotel where the grooms will be residing the night before and after the ceremony. 4-start hotel in Fort Lauderdale Beach (under Hilton brand) designed by Michael Graves (remember the toasters he made for Target?). All rooms at hotel have a kitchenette and sleep a maximum of 4 people. We have a room block at this hotel for our wedding guests at a rate of $469/night for a junior suite with king bed and a pull-out sofa bed with partial ocean views (typical room rate in high season - February - is over $700 so we recommend booking under the room block). There is also a partial ocean view with 2 queen beds (no sofa bed) for $589/night. Within walking distance to Bonnet House, all rooms with balconies, across the street from the beach and ocean. Full service hotel from Kimpton brand within a 7 minute walk to Conrad and 10 minute walk to Bonnet House. Great rates with excellent amenities and mid-century modern decor. Cute 3-story hotel with vintage, shabby-chic, old Florida vibes including a lush courtyard and 2 pools. All units are suites with kitchenettes. Highly rated online and known for great service. Only a 2-minute walk from the Conrad and a 5-minute walk to Bonnet House.
