Dress code is boho-chic (ie, cocktail attire with a pop of tropical/floral) Just keep in mind that, in February, the average high in Fort Lauderdale is 78 and low is typically 62. Our wedding will be taking place at dusk. If you're super neurotic (like us) and want an even more detailed description see below: Tropical A warm weather wedding may heavily lean into a tropical setting. Much like beach weddings and summer weddings, your comfort should be high priority when dressing for a tropical wedding (whether or not it's actually in the tropics). Keep light, breezy fabrics top of mind during your search. That being said, you can still pull off a flattering look complimentary to the wedding's theme. Look to the location's natural sights—such as beaches and tropical forests—for inspiration when it comes to your color palette. Colors: bold and nature-inspired (emerald green, turquoise, navy blue) or neutrals (sand, beige, light grey) Fabrics: linen, cotton, silk Patterns: florals, palm fronds
Unfortunately, we will not be having children at the Bonnet House (other than our nieces and nephew). Outside of the wedding day, we will be having a beach day on Sunday and guests are welcome to bring children.
Our caterer will not be accepting special requests. However, there will be gluten-free, vegetarian/vegan, and pescetarian options.
