Welcome Get Together

Casual (come as you are)

This will be a casual, come-and-go-when-you-want get together in Fort Lauderdale Beach - we understand many of your may be touching down Friday evening. Come say hi to us before we're overwhelmed by all the things we have to do the day of the wedding (jk, we’ll totally be overwhelmed even before that)! Walking distance from hotels listed under our “Travel” tab. Enjoy a welcome drink on us, then cash bar. We will provide a spread of finger foods to snack on as well. The rooftop has a separate entrance which is just to the left of the main entrance of the bar (you can’t miss it!).

Wedding

4:30 pm - 11:00 pm

We welcome guests to arrive at 4:30 to enjoy a (non-alcoholic) refreshment, then take their seats for the 5:00 (sharp) ceremony start time. :) On foot: Enter Bonnet House at the South gate, where northern Breakers Ave dead ends. By car or Uber/Lyft: Navigate to the main address 900 N Birch Road. Golf carts will be traveling from the parking lot to the ceremony. Ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception are all outdoors. Temperatures should be comfortable (low 70s to upper 60s), but it's south Florida so a few bugs are always active at dusk. Though not so problematic this time of year, we will provide botanical bug repellant wipes, or if you prefer, perhaps bring a handheld fan to keep them at bay.

Beachside Brunch and Beverages

11:00 am - 2:00 pm

Beach-wear, casual

This is a 2 story oceanside restaurant where we will be gathering the day after. We will provide small bites and beverages, with wine & beer on us, or cash bar if you need a stiff cocktail. The beach is a short crosswalk away, and the scene is casual and laid back. About a 25 minute oceanside walk to reach this venue from the hotels listed on our site (or a 4 minute car ride). ***The Sunday forecast calls for rain, but don't be discouraged, since the bar and patio area are under cover. Come do a rain dance with us, and we will hope for a peak of sunshine.
