Kevin and Olu have bonded over the most quintessential wings such as Nando’s Peri Peri Wings and Dinosaur BBQ’s Wango Tango Wings. They also hold 80s and 90s WWE wrestling to high esteem—“Wooo!!!” (In the words of Ric Flair). Kevin’s favorite wrestlers of all time are Randy Orton and Triple H. His favorite superhero is Batman, but he also gives honorable mention to James Bond.

John Jay Kim hails from Long Island, New York. Olu and John’s friendship began when they attended a character animation course at the School of Visual Arts. Since then, they’ve teamed up on animation projects and have bonded over Korean BBQ. John’s favorite superhero is Spider-Man and his favorite wrestler is the late-great Eddie Guerrero (aka Latino Heat).

Barry Jackson Jr. hails from the state of Connecticut but his family roots originate in the South. He met Olu at The Gathering Church, where they both serve as ministers. Beyond ministry, Olu and Barry share a deep passion for Marvel superhero films. One of their greatest highlights was attending the opening night premiere of the Black Panther wearing West African attire. On that day, Barry was given the honorary nickname “Oluwa-Barry.” Yup, he fit right in! (Lol.) Barry’s favorite superhero is Iron Man and his favorite wrestlers of all time are The Ultimate Warrior and The Undertaker.

Despite going to different high schools and colleges, the two happened to cross paths quite often. Their friendship was built over lots of Chinese take-out, junior high memories, and conversations about the Christian faith. Although they are now hundreds of miles apart, Ted and Olu have found countless ways to stay connected time and time again. Ted’s favorite superheroes are Gambit and Batman.
