A fun option if you're looking for brunch! The diner is pretty small, so we recommend trying to go earlier or planning to wait for a bit.
A great Italian restaurant in the heart of Downtown Poulsbo. You can make reservations on their website or by calling ahead.
A beautiful place to walk around if you're looking for a nice outdoor activity to soak in the greenery of the PNW. You do need to make reservations ahead of time, and there is a fee per person.
If you're spending time in Seattle, we recommend taking a day or two and exploring West Seattle. It's where Nathan grew up and has some incredible views, along with some amazing food and stores. Favorite activities include walking in Lincoln Park along the water or down Alki Beach, which has sand and some fun restaurants around. Favorite food places include Husky Deli (Nathan worked here scooping ice cream one summer), Buddha Ruksa, Nikos Teriyaki and Bakery Nouveau. Favorite stores include Easy Street (lots of fun Vinyls and they have a little cafe) and West Seattle Art and Frame.
If you're looking to add some exploring to your time in Washington, we recommend visiting Olympic National Park. From Poulsbo, it's about a two hour drive to either the top of Hurricane Ridge with spectacular views of the surrounding mountains and hiking trails, or to Lake Crescent, a beautiful clear glacially-carved lake with hiking trails and canoe, kayak and paddleboard rentals. Nathan has backpacked here with friends and Olivia's parents explored the area a few years ago. We're happy to provide more recommendations for things to do, just reach out if you're looking into this!
