When are RSVPs due?

Answer

We will open up the RSVP tab when we are closer to the wedding date. We'd love to know if you can make it as soon as possible, but please RSVP no later than July 12, 2024.

Will the Ceremony and Reception be outdoors or indoors?

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outside on the Kiana Lodge lawn (weather permitting!). The dinner and reception will be inside the garden atrium.

When should I arrive on the wedding day?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 4:00 pm on Friday, September 6, 2024. We kindly ask guests to arrive 20-30 minutes prior!

Can I bring outside alcohol or marijuana to Kiana Lodge?

Answer

The Kiana Lodge is located on Suquamish Tribal lands. Absolutely no outside alcohol is allowed on the property. The possession or use of marijuana is also strictly prohibited. Failure to comply with these rules will result in immediate cancellation of the event -- so please, no outside alcohol or marijuana!

Will there be a shuttle to/from the hotel (the Fairfield) and the venue on the day of the wedding?

Answer

Yes, we will arrange for a shuttle to pick up guests from the hotel(s) prior to the ceremony and bring people back to the hotel(s) at the end of the night. We will also have a shuttle to/from the hotel for the welcome dinner. Details on pickup and drop-off times will be shared closer to the wedding date.

Do I need to rent a car?

Answer

We suggest that you rent a car for the weekend. Uber / Lyft are usually very limited on Bainbridge Island and in Poulsbo. The recommended hotels are not walking distance from the wedding venue, the Bainbridge Island ferry terminal, or the downtown areas of Bainbridge Island and Poulsbo.

Is there parking available at Kiana Lodge?

Answer

Yes. There is a parking lot located within the Kiana Lodge gates. In the event this lot fills up, there is an overflow lot located across the street. All parking on the venue is free.

How early should I arrive at the Seattle ferry terminal prior to departure time?

Answer

During summer months (especially on weekends), the space for cars fills up quickly on the ferry. We recommend arriving at the ferry terminal at least 30 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time.

Which ferry should I take to Bainbridge?

Answer

Take the Downtown Seattle ferry on 801 Alaskan Wy to Bainbridge Island. Reservations are not required and you can view the ferry schedules for departure time here: https://wsdot.com/ferries/schedule/scheduledetailbyroute.aspx?route=sea-bi.
