By New York standards, our relationship was “long-distance,” as we lived in separate boroughs. It began with weekly ferry rides to and from Brooklyn to visit each other, with Rigby of course.

Three years after meeting, we found ourselves on top of the NYC ferry in our favorite seats, choosing to spend the rest of our lives together! A kind stranger captured that moment in this picture.

After the proposal, Matt planned a trip to Montreal to celebrate our engagement — a city we had visited early in our relationship and where we fell in love.
