A bus will be provided for guests traveling from Williamsburg to the Prospect Park Boathouse. The pick up location will be directly in front of the Arlo Williamsburg hotel. If you have any accessibility needs, please let us know—we’re happy to include you on an earlier shuttle that will drop guests directly in front of the venue. If you choose not to take the shuttle, please plan to arrive at the venue by 5:30 PM. Please note that there is no parking at the Boathouse, so we recommend using public transportation or nearby public parking if you do not plan to take the bus.
The ceremony will take place outdoors, with the reception indoors. In the event of rain, the ceremony will move indoors. Early September weather can be warm, so please dress accordingly.
Black Tie Optional. Men are expected to wear tuxedos or black suits. Women are encouraged to wear floor-length gowns or formal evening attire.
We have secured a discounted room block at Arlo Williamsburg and would love for our out-of-town guests to stay there, though it is not required. You are welcome to stay wherever you prefer, but we recommend Arlo Williamsburg as it is next to the Welcome Event and will be the pickup location for shuttles to the venue.
