Things To Do

Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre

18300 West Alameda Parkway, Morrison, CO 80465
, (720) 865-2494

shows are starting to schedule back up. Subject to change due to Covid 19, but a beautiful amphitheater and worth a visit even without a show. Visiting it at sunrise is beautiful and a popular event

Mount Falcon Park

Castle Trail, Morrison, CO 80465
, (303) 271-5925

really gorgeous area to hike and visit

Lair o' the Bear Park Parking

Morrison, CO 80465

This was actually Olivia and my first hike together. pretty walk along a small river that allows you to take a short walk, or go many miles depending on preference. We also had some engagement photos taken here :)

Lookout Mountain Park

987 Lookout Mountain Road, Golden, CO 80401
, (720) 865-0900

very pretty, and nice if not wanting to walk a lot, and more drive from spot to spot to get out and look around

Downtown Golden

Washington Avenue, Golden, CO 80401
, (303) 384-8080

Golden, CO, is a very nice spot to visit and gets very busy in the summer. There are many restaurants and bars and even some small shops to check out. I worked at the Golden Moon Speakeasy as a bartender for a short while and they have wonderful cocktails for reasonable prices!

Trip Advisor - Morrison, CO

Plan your trip with tripadvisor. It's a great resource!

Historic Larimer Plaza

Larimer Plaza, Denver, CO 80204

Great restaurants and often times there will be events going on in the summer (Covid may change that, but things seem to be opening back up!)

Beaver Meadows Visitor Center

1000 U.S. 36, Estes Park, CO 80517
, (970) 586-1206

This park entrance is great. Really nice spots to pull off and great views. Olivia and I had the photo of us on this website taken there. It was a cold and windy day, but so wonderful! You won't go wrong by visiting!

Estes Park

Estes Park, CO 80517
, (970) 577-9900

take a look at the website! great camping if you want to check that out, and a nice day trip kind of visit to the downtown area with plenty of nick nack shops and Colorado gear shops

Pearl Street Mall

1942 Broadway, Boulder, CO 80302
, (303) 449-3774

take a trip to the pearl street mall of downtown Boulder, CO! It's a very touristy stop, but worth the visit for day shopping/gazing and plenty of restaurants, bars, and breweries

Crooked Stave Friends & Family Taproom

1441 West 46th Avenue, Denver, CO 80211
, (720) 508-3292

really great stop! On the outskirts of downtown Denver. Awesome Sour Beers, nice atmosphere, and plenty of other stuff inside the complex to see and visit (unbelievably "hipster" but worth the visit)

Native Roots Medical and Recreational Marijuana Dispensary

7870 West Quincy Avenue, Littleton, CO 80123
, (303) 933-4372

Listen...it's Colorado and people are gonna do what they are gonna do. We might as well direct you to a good place so you don't get poor product or pay too much. Native Roots has reasonable prices, multiple locations, and staff has good reviews and we've been told its a great place for people who don't know what they want or looking for. Take it or leave it haha

Bears Creek Distillery

1879 S Acoma St., denver, CO 80223

We have had several dates here! Great drinks, great whiskeys, rum, and vodka. All distilled in house, and turned into delicious craft cocktails.

Stranahan's Colorado Whiskey

200 South Kalamath Street, Denver, CO 80223
, (303) 296-7440

nice distillery to visit and a popular Colorado whiskey

Milk - grunge bar
