Welcome Party : River Roast, 315 N. Lasalle Street Wedding Ceremony & Reception : Fairlie Chicago, 315 N. Bell Avenue
The welcome party will mostly be indoors but will also have outdoor spaces available if the weather cooperates. The wedding and reception will be entirely indoors.
For the welcome party, no transportation will be provided. Feel free to walk from the hotels if the weather is nice or take an Uber, Lyft or Taxi. For the wedding, we will have a shuttle picking guests up at the Intercontinental Hotel on Michigan Avenue at 3:30pm and taking guests to the venue. There will be a return shuttle at the end of the night back to the Intercontinental. If you do not want to take the shuttle, no worries! Ubers and Lyfts are always available.
Yes! Fairlie has on-site parking, and there’s also plenty of street parking in the neighborhood.
While we adore your littles, we have chosen to include only the children of immediate family in our wedding festivities.
Unless dictated on your save the date and invitation, we are asking you do not bring plus ones.
RSVPs will be requested by June 15, 2025. Look out for more details in the formal invitations coming soon!
Welcome Party: Casual. Feel free to come in your sundresses, khakis, chinos, button-downs, or polos. Wedding: Semi-formal. Think long dresses, tuxedos, or suits. Check out the Schedule section on our website for more details!
We want everyone to enjoy the day! If you have any dietary restrictions, please email us at jakeandoliviakarmel@gmail.com so we can work with our caterer to accommodate your needs. Once RSVPs go out, there will be a space to note dietary preferences as well.
