Kansas Wildlife Exhibit

The Kansas Wildlife Exhibit is free to visit every day of the year! The best time to see as much as possible is during the feeding time program. It begins at noon each day and lasts approximately 30-45 minutes. That includes every weekday, weekend and holiday. Located in Central Riverside Park at 700 Nims, the Kansas Wildlife Exhibit (KWE) features exhibits with a naturalistic design which ensures the health and comfort of the animals. The KWE features non-releasable, and often permanently injured, wildlife ambassadors such as a bobcat, golden eagle, beaver, hawks, quail, turtles and more.

Keeper of the Plains

The Keeper of the Plains is a 44-foot tall steel sculpture standing at the point where the Big and Little Arkansas rivers join together in downtown Wichita.

Penny's Diner

This is a classic 1950's style dinner located adjacent to the Baymont by Wyndham Wellington and is open 24-hours. They feature standard American cuisine including hamburgers, meatloaf, milkshakes, and malts!
