(From our Wedding Officiant) my favorite places & things to do Restaurants 1. Sunset Grille - delicious, casual and on a beach 2. The Easterly - island chic and amazing 3. Prime - on the hillside with views of the harbor and downtown Charlotte Amalie 4. Brooks Bar - for true local flavor Activities 1. Surprisingly one of the best things to do on St. Thomas is to go to St. John! Great shops, beaches and restaurants. 2. Paradise Point/Sky Ride is a ski lift that takes you up the side of a small mountain. At the top is a restaurant, bar and shops. Some nights they have live music. The views at sunset are spectacular! 3. Snorkeling at Sapphire or Coki Beach. At Coki you can feed schools of fish as they swarm around you 4. Pirate Treasure Museum. This little museum is a pleasant way to kill an hour (or 3 if you have kids). 5. A boat trip! 6. Kayak the lagoon with VI Ecotours, & see untouched mangroves teeming with marine life. The kayaking isn't strenuous & you can snorkel too
(From our Wedding Officiant) my favorite places & things to do Restaurants 1. Virgin Bistro - delicious food and crappy views, but worth it 2. 1864 - casual, but nice, excellent food 3. Morgan's Mango - great food and views Activities 1. St. John has great charter boat companies equipped for any type of water excursion. 2. Arawak Expeditions is an adventure outfitter that will take you fishing, hiking and/or kayaking. 3. Much of St. John is un-populated because the lands are part of the National Park System. Hiking trails snake across and around the island's tropical fauna, sugar mill ruins, petroglyphs, and remote beaches. Grab a map from the National Park Office in Cruz Bay and go exploring.
