Wedding Party

Meet our family and friends that will be walking down the aisle with us!

Hannah Impeartrice

Maid of Honor

My name is Hannah and I’m so excited to be Meghan’s Maid of Honor! Meghan and I met during her freshman year at WKU. From the minute we met, she became one of my best friends, and I can’t imagine my life without her. Sam also entered my life during college when he and Meghan started dating. Over the years he has shown so much love to not only Meghan, but her family and friends as well. I can’t wait to celebrate the love of two of my favorite people! Accomplishment for the reception: I’m going to remember all of the dance moves to the Cha Cha Slide without prompting from DJ Casper!

Ian Kelley

Best Man

I remember the first day I met Sam. I was 3 days old and he was fresh out the womb. Our moms were childhood friends and did everything together - including having us at the same time! Because of this Sam and I have been lifelong friends. If you were to meet Sam and I separately you would immediately realize that we didn’t share a ton of similar interests and we enjoyed different hobbies. That’s didn’t stop us from being the best of friends. Some of my fondest memories with Sam revolve around derby time. Going to Dawn at the Downs to see the horses workout followed by Lisa(Sam’s Mom) attempting to get us to school afterwards and getting lost in south Louisville, screaming obscenities as she tried to find her way, eventually saying screw it you all aren’t going to school today. Or going to his uncle Curt’s house for his annual derby party and learning at a very young age how to do exotic bets on the horses. I think Sam and I were the only 5 year olds in the city who knew exactly how much we’d have to pay for a $1 trifecta box. In all seriousness though Sam is the most loyal friend I have and know and I am forever grateful for our lifelong friendship and honored to be a part of his wedding party! Reception Goal: Finding Dash a stepmom

Caroline Smith

Bridesmaid

Hi! My name is Caroline Smith and I am Sam’s little sister! I am a senior at Centre College and am planning to follow in the teaching footsteps of my mom and Meghan. One of my favorite memories with Sam and Meghan is when they took me on a bar crawl through Lexington after I turned 21, I loved getting to visit all of their favorite spots. Another great memory was going on family vacation to Michigan with Sam and Meghan, from walks to the beach to cards back at the house, it was a great time. I am so excited to be a bridesmaid, my goal for the reception is to take a shot with my brother and my new sister in law!

Sean Dillon

Groomsman

Hey everyone! My name is Sean Dillon. I am the brother of the bride, and of course soon to be brother-in-law of the groom! It’s been a pleasure to watch Sam become a part of my family and continually make my sister happy. I look forward to seeing their relationship grow! I hope to accomplish catching the bouquet in the wedding ;) I like flowers too.

Sarah Augustyniak

Bridesmaid

Sam and I met nearly 15 years ago, scooping gelato in the summer. We spent all our time in the back of the shop, talking about music, books, movies, and life. Sam has a radiant sense of humor and is, easily, the kindest person I have ever met. We spent college making road trips for music festivals, and eventually these trips became treasured annual friend-cations. Now, imagine my delight when Sam introduces me to his new girlfriend! From the first day I met her (more than eight years ago!?), I was elated to have her in my life. Meghan has a sharp wit, exacting taste, and passion for seasonal beverages matching my own. I can always look to her for a great beer or book recommendation, and she’s always down to suffer in an exercise class together. All this to say, I am SO excited to celebrate Sam & Meg - they truly are the most wonderful couple and the most amazing friends! Accomplishment for the reception: Spill my drink on myself while dancing LESS than 5 (five) times.

Jackson Wolford

Groomsman

Jackson met Sam in high school gym class, where they would run laps together because he was certain he could at least outrun the kid with asthma. Returning to Louisville after college, he lived with Sam for a year. After that experience, he has refused to have a roommate ever since. Is this because of trauma, or because no one can live up to the standard Sam set? Interesting question. Aspirational Accomplishment During Reception: To host a secret second wedding on the dance floor so quietly that nobody notices. Only the cool kids can attend.

Elizabeth Settle

Bridesmaid

Liz and Meghan met as Sigma Kappa pledge class sisters at WKU. We both ended up on our sorority's executive committee and became great friends! We shared many fun nights at Hilligan's and at sorority functions. One of my favorite memories is coincidently matching Meghan at a sorority date party- we both showed up in target pizza pajamas! Meghan and Sam are an adorable couple that both compliment and support one another! I’m so thankful to be friends with them! I can’t wait to celebrate their special day alongside their friends and family! These two deserve all the happiness in the world. Reception goal: Recreate our college days and dance embarrassingly with some great craft beer!

Patrick Duffy

Groomsman

As the step brother of Sam, it has been awesome to see him and Meghan grow closer. For me it's hard to remember a time without Meghan around. They have bonded their wands and sabers to become the perfect jedi wizard duo, capable of cutting through the thickest haze of smoke during family dinner nights. At the marriage of our parents I saw how Sam and Meghan really complement each other and knew it wouldn't be long before they would tie the knot as well. Reception goal: I'll really be pushing myself to new limits to drink a couple of beers with them in celebration at this great union.

Maria Long

Bridesmaid

Maria and Meghan met in college through Sigma Kappa. There were many nights spent on the couch in the sorority house (laughing at everything and nothing OR watching Disney movies). Sam quickly became a favorite amongst our friend group when he would not only put up with, but join in on our shenanigans. Graduation didn’t keep Meghan and Maria apart for long, though, as they found themselves living in the same apartment building back home in Louisville. You could find them drinking endless coffee or cuddling with Maria’s dog Lilly at 3rd Turn. The best memories are yet to come, though, with the celebration of a lifetime for Meghan and Sam!

Brandon Hinderer

Groomsman

So, I met Sam as his trainer (and coworker) at FCMA - you never really know what to expect when you’re told you’re training someone. But, he came in with this casual, easy going attitude about him and we became fast friends over our mutual appreciation of good books and great craft beer. Hence, I met his better half at their second home (Gravely) - and off the bat, you can see just how easy they make a great relationship look. I couldn’t be happier to share in this experience with them. Reception accomplishment - make sure Sam polishes off one of the kegs.

Savannah Molyneaux

Bridesmaid

I first met Meghan during sorority recruitment. I was a scared freshman and Meghan instantly made me feel at ease during the final night of recruitment, where we bonded over our shared love of Harry Potter and musicals. On bid day I ran home to Sigma Kappa and I was so excited to find out Meghan was my Heart Sister! She later became my Big and welcomed me into the “Uptown Girls” fam. Meghan has truly been the big sister I’ve always wanted, as the oldest sibling. She’s guided me through my first sorority mixer and nights of drinking way too much Malibu, a huge snowstorm at WKU where we watched movies and ordered pizza (sorry Dominos delivery guy!) and sharing a room in our haunted sorority house. One of my favorite memories with her and Sam is when we went to the Hangouts music festival together. Meghan and Sam went out of their way to make sure I could see The Weeknd despite the crazy crowd. Sam also introduced me to Buzz Balls on this trip (not recommended). I’ve watched as Meghan and Sam have supported each other through new degrees and careers, but one thing always stays the same: their love for beer and each other. What I hope to accomplish at the reception: Out-dance everyone else during the Wobble!

Gaby Rodriguez

Groomsman

Sam and I met junior year of high school through a longstanding mutual friend. Little did I know at the time that we would be rocking 14 years later. Over these 14 years I have seen Sam in various stages of his life. None of these stages can hold a candle to when he got together with Meghan. I have seen them both become the best versions of themselves. They are truly a special couple and I humbled and frankly honored to be apart of this magnificent chapter of their lives. Reception goal/accomplishment: Make sure the bride and groom get the most out of their bar accommodations
