Finally!

It all started with a sandwich… One cold day in November of 2013, we both found ourselves sitting in the wood-paneled dining room at the new Potbelly Sandwich shop in Louisville, KY. Little did we know that over the next year-and-a-half, we would share jokes and laughs, and bond over our shared love of bread (and distaste of tuna salad sandwiches). Somehow, after our first date involving a horrible orange cream milkshake and generic Will Smith movie, we couldn’t stay away, and made it official on April 28th, 2015. What followed was a whirlwind of parties, college graduations, drive-in movies, moving (a lot), new jobs, and growing together. We are proud to say that roughly 9 years later, we now share a home, a thriving plant collection, countless Legos, and a book collection that, in our opinion, rivals some libraries. We have conquered Disney together, road tripped along the Blue Ridge Parkway, discovered dino bones in Colorado with friends, and braved December in Chicago. We have created a home in our city, discovered our favorite breweries, drank lattes at beautiful coffee shops, and shopped until we dropped at indie bookstores. Throughout all of the years, we have supported each other through the good and bad, and we are so excited to look towards the future and continue building our life together as Mr. & Mrs. Smith starting on September 21st, 2024. We hope to celebrate a September to remember with all of our friends and family!
