What should I wear?
Answer
Think formal, autumnal mountain wedding! NOTE: The limo can only take us as far as the Lake Minnewanka parking lot. There is a short walk from the lot to the ceremony location, and while that path is paved, the ceremony itself will be down a small slope on the sandy, rocky shore of the lake. As the ceremony will be standing-only, please consider wearing comfortable footwear!

Can I bring a guest?
Answer
The elopement package has a strict cap of 20 people- including the bride & groom- so only those who have been invited can attend the ceremony. Those who are attending the ceremony are also invited to dinner. If you would like to bring a guest to The Drake to party after dinner, by all means- the more, the merrier!

Are children invited to the ceremony?
Answer
While we would love to have everyone there, our sweet nieces and nephew will have to sit this part out due to the cap. We appreciate your understanding! However, there will be time prior to the ceremony for family and group photos. We ABSOLUTELY want to include our nieces & nephew in every part of the day that we can! ♡

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

We kindly ask that you put your phones & cameras away during the ceremony—let’s be present together! ♡ The package comes with a professional photographer, and the ceremony will be filmed for later viewing.

How much is dinner?
Answer
Dinner is on us! Alcoholic beverages will need to be paid on your own tab.

How long will you be staying in Canmore?
Answer
We're staying at The Malcolm from October 3rd - 7th. Monday, October 6th will be a whole lot of chillin', hot-tubbin', and recoverin'. And probably room service. And naps. We have flights booked on October 7th from Calgary to Penticton for a mini-moon to celebrate together in our favorite Okanagan city. ♡
