The ability for everyone to stay at camp offers the opportunity for everyone to be close by! Not only are you a guest at our wedding, but you get to be a happy camper for the weekend too! Staying at camp means you can stay up late sitting around the fire or playing card games by flashlight. The showers and toilets, though communal, are clean and there are tons of mirrors to aid in getting ready. If we learned anything after years of Friday Night Banquets it's that people can clean up well, even at camp. For us camp isn't just a place, it is full of joyous and happy memories and it brought us together as a couple. We cannot wait to make more memories there with all of you!
Once RSVPs are in, we will begin pairing attendees together. You will receive an email before the wedding with details about your cabin including where it is located and who you will be sharing with. There is no need for you to reserve a cabin ahead of time we will take care of that part. We anticipate all families can have their own cabin, older guest and families with young children will be assigned cabins nearest the bathrooms. Families with infants and toddlers will have the option of staying in a lodge on campus which has four private rooms and a bathroom. If you are flying in we are happy to supply linens or sleeping bags, pillows, towels, and lawn chairs. Just let us know in your RSVP what you'll need!
We will have an RSVP form here on the website that will help us better serve all of our guests' needs such as cabin preferences, dietary restrictions, child care needs, etc. RSVPs will be ready by the time you receive your invitation. To help us plan in time for you all to arrive, we request your response by July 20th. If you have any trouble RSVPing, or you need to make any adjustments please let us know.
That’s right! A whole weekend! Camp holds a very special place in our lives and we want you all to be able to experience that joy with us. Since many (all?) of you will be traveling from out of town, we want to make sure everyone has enough time to visit, unwind, and enjoy themselves. We’ll be planning some camp activities to provide as full of a camp experience as possible!
Kids of all ages are welcome. What is a summer camp without kids? Our goal is to ensure that all families can have their own cabin and families with young children will be in cabins close to the bathrooms. Families with infants and toddlers can stay in a staff lodge on campus, which has four private rooms and a shared bathroom. If you have any questions or concerns about bringing your little ones feel free to reach out!
Because of the close quarters and limited space at camp we ask that you do not bring a plus one, unless specifically noted on your invitation. We want to make sure you're comfortable with your bunk mates so we've invited people who know and love each other already. Thank you for your understanding!
We will be having an unplugged ceremony. We are hiring a photographer and videographer and we want our photos of the ceremony to include all your smiling faces, not the backs of your phones. That being said, taking photos and videos at any point in the weekend outside of the ceremony is not only allowed, it's encouraged!
Wedding Dress code: We think the technical term is Garden Party/ Summer Cocktail. We want you to look and feel your best at our wedding so dresses, pant suits, suits, button-up shirts and slacks, whatever you feel most comfortable in is what you should wear! (Keep in mind, when selecting shoes, that you will be walking outdoors on grass and gravel.) Weekend Dress code: Super casual, like shorts and t-shirts casual.
We will be providing dinner on Friday, a light breakfast and lunch on Saturday, dinner on Saturday night, and a grab and go breakfast on Sunday. There is shelving in the cabins to store snacks, just make sure any food you have with you is sealed so we don’t attract ants. We’ll be providing alcohol during the reception, but the rehearsal dinner will be BYOB. There will also be plenty of downtime during the weekend in which you’re welcome to kick back and relax, so please feel free to bring a cooler stocked with your favorite adult beverages. We only ask that you drink responsibly and clean up after yourselves! There are no weapons, firearms, or illicit drugs permitted at camp.
