In August of 2010, two camp counselors started dating at Calvary Camp. As one was at the University of Michigan and the other was at Rochester Institute of Technology they weren't sure the whole long distance thing was going to work, but after talking every single day for a few months Peter flew to Rochester to ask Cara to officially be his girlfriend. Eight years, three moves, a dog, a cat, and two couches later, Peter flew them both to New York City to ask Cara to be his wife, and she, of course, said yes!
