Our Story Continue...
....Nomfundo made it clear that she's not the “go with the flow” type, she need clarity. What are we doing? Where are we going? Why? 😅
That day, we bonded deeply over our faith, families, dreams, and everything in between. Our connection deepened, but still no labels, no courtship. Just lots of meaningful conversation.
Then, on Thursday, 14 December 2023, while at his year-end work party, Rotenda sent me a message: “Please check your email.” There it was — a letter asking me to be his girlfriend and, potentially, his future wife. He declared his feelings and asked me to write back with my answer — yes or no (in not quite those words, but still!). I wrote back with a resounding yes, and that’s when our adventure truly began.
We chose 14 December as our anniversary date and have celebrated our “monthiversaries” every 14th since. Most fell on weekdays, but the 14th September 2024 landed on a Saturday.
Nomfundo suggested a date night, and Mr. Bale happily obliged.....
