Flight
Hilton Head Island has an airport (HHH), but flight options can be limited and more expensive than Savannah. Worth checking out as it is less than 15 minutes away from all hotels and resorts. American Airlines, Delta Airlines and United Airlines have daily flights and service these major hubs direct to/from HHH: Atlanta (ATL), Chicago (ORD), Charlotte (CLT), New York (EWR, LGA), Washington DC (IAD, DCA)
Flight
The Savannah Airport (SAV) is a 60 min drive or Uber from Hilton Head Island and is usually less expensive than flying directly into Hilton Head. All major airlines and several discount airlines fly in/out of SAV. If not renting a car Private shuttles are available to and from the island to the airport and must be scheduled in advance. We recommend HHI Express at: https://www.hhiexpress.net Uber and Lyft are available to transport to/from Savannah.
House Or Rental
Located on the south end of the island Sea Pines has a lot of great options for home or condo rentals. The Welcome Party is at the Quarterdeck restaurant in the Harbour Town area of Sea Pines. Within Sea Pines you will find many accommodations within an easy walking distance of the Yacht Basin and Quarterdeck restaurant.

Located Mid Island Palmetto Dunes has a wide variety of hotel, home or condo rentals that can be found on all the major booking sites. In addition to oceanfront or near ocean properties both the Hilton and Omni have ocean front views and access for guests.

Located on the south end of the island Coligny and Forest Beach is a location worth considering for a hotel, condo or home rental. With numerous restaurants, shops and public beach access this is a popular destination for visitors to the island and therefore a little more congested.
Hotel
Hotels are plentiful and since the island is rather small, everyone of them will be conveniently located to both the welcome party and wedding venue. If you are looking for an oceanfront experience the Hilton or Omni in Palmetto Dunes are excellent choices. The Westin in Port Royal Plantation (mid-island) and the Sonesta in Shipyard Plantation (south end) are also ocean front options. For a more affordable stay both the Springhill Suites by Marriott and the Home2Suites by Hilton are located mid-island and convenient to the venues (less than 15 Minutes), shopping and restaurants.
