4:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Start the wedding weekend with us at K. Spoetzl Brewery & Distillery! The heart of Shiner is Spoetzl Brewery, home to the famous Shiner Bock beer. We’ll be gathering on the outdoor patio for a relaxed evening of drinks, good food, and great company. Children are welcome (and in some cases, preferred). The K. Spoetzl BBQ serves our favorite brisket in Shiner, and the brewery offers an amazing selection of craft beers and spirits. If you're interested in seeing how the beer is made, brewery and distillery tours are offered earlier in the day and conclude by 4:30 PM, and the BBQ closes at 6 PM. This is a casual, self-pay event—no need to RSVP, just swing by when you can, grab whatever you'd like, and help us kick off the celebration!
5:00 pm - 6:00 pm
We'll exchange vows outdoors beside the Gipson family home, while the sun sets over the west field. There will be plenty of parking available on site. The parking area is in full view of the ceremony, so please arrive by 4:45 to ensure time to find your seat. We want you to be comfortable and enjoy our celebration! Attire is Dressy-Casual; jackets and ties are optional. Please consider the outdoor nature of our event when choosing footwear and outerwear. The wedding party will be dressed in fall colors (e.g., burgundy, forest green, navy, plum, rust, mustard yellow). Immediately following the ceremony, please join us for drinks and charcuterie, and games of the lawn and board varieties. Children are welcome to attend the ceremony, and we'll have fun activities for them during the reception.
6:00 pm - 10:00 pm
The Meal: We are so excited to share our favorite meal with our favorite people. In 2021, after Nolan experienced a serious medical crisis, his mom cooked a batch of tacos that literally brought him back to life. It was a catalyzing experience in our relationship and this meal represents our dedication to love and care for each other in sickness and in health. The Entertainment: Theatre has been a passion, an outlet, and a driving force in both our individual lives and the life that we are building together, and the many friends we have made along the way are no stranger to the spotlight. After dinner and speeches, we would like to open the floor for our incredible friends to share a bit of their immense talent. The After Party: The sweet treats will not end when the cake is cut! Please join us at the fire pit for smores. Grab a blanket and some cocoa and descend into Middle Earth with us as Lord of the Rings is projected on the north lawn.
