FAQs

Question

How did you meet?

Answer

The old fashioned way - Noelle swiped right, and Phil sent her a message!

Question

Why did you choose your venue?

Answer

We loved the old fashioned flair, and so many elements were reminiscent of The Grand Floridian, Noelle's favorite Disney hotel. From the first time we visited The Royalton, we felt right at home!

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Attire is black tie optional. What does that mean? Our wedding will be a formal affair and we welcome you to show off your tux or evening gown. For Men: a tuxedo or a dark suit and tie For Women: a long evening gown, a dressy suit, or a fancy knee-length cocktail dress This is intended as a guideline only. More important than any dress code is our guests’ comfort. We want everyone to be happy and have fun! All events will take place inside or in covered heated areas.

Question

Will there be a coat check?

Answer

Yes, your coat can be checked upon arrival. You will spend minimal time outdoors (just the walk from your car through the front doors of the venue).

Question

Will there be valet parking?

Answer

Yes, valet parking is available at the front doors of the venue.

Question

Is there anything I should be aware of in regards to accessibility?

Answer

All events will take place on the first floor of the venue. There are no steps and there will be minimal walking to navigate the space. It is one of the things we love most about this venue!

Question

What are your colors?

Answer

The girls in our bridal party will be wearing burgundy and men will be wearing black with burgundy and gold accents. We love Christmas and our bridal party will be sporting festive attire.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Doors will open at 3:45. We encourage you to join us for our welcome reception so you have some time to check your coat, grab a snack and make your way to the ballroom for the ceremony.

Question

How do you feel about cell phones being used during the ceremony and reception?

Answer

We know our families, and we know that it would be a hopeless cause to ask them to put away their devices so we are embracing the tech! Take lots of photos and videos to capture the special day. We kindly ask that you respect the guests around you by silencing your device, ensuring you are not blocking the person behind you, and to keep it out of the aisles so our photographers can capture the moment. There will be a phone charging station available if you need a little more battery to get you through the night.

For all the days along the way
