Crescent Bend House & Garden (venue)
Crescent Bend, our wedding and reception venue, is just west of the University of Tennessee campus. Boasting an almost 200 year old history, this house was designated as a command center and hospital during the Civil War. More history of the house and gardens can be found at http://www.crescentbend.com/about.html Driving there: For all driving instructions, Apple Maps will take you directly to the venue. Google Maps incorrectly takes you to a university parking lot east of the venue. The venue is located at southwest corner of the intersection of Kingston Pike and Neyland Drive, with the driveway entrance on the south side of Kington Pike. If you're looking at the house, the horseshoe-shaped driveway entrance is on the right. Parking: There is a small self parking area on the east side of the house. Please do not park in the lot that Google Maps brings you to, as that is a university lot. We encourage you to carpool, take a Lyft/Uber, and travel responsibly. The Tennessean Hotel does offer a free transportation service within 3 miles of the hotel, and an airport pickup service for a fee. 2055 Alcoa Hwy, Alcoa, TN 37701 This is Knoxville's airport, and is about a 15 minute drive to the venue and downtown Knoxville. Please note this is NOT an international airport, BUT does have service with several big cities like Orlando, Chicago, Atlanta, Charlotte, Denver, New York-LGA, and Dallas-Ft. Worth.

1 Terminal Dr, Nashville, TN 37214 This airport in Nashville is about 2.5 hours from downtown Knoxville. This airport does not fly to McGhee Tyson, but would be an option if you want to rent a car and explore more of Tennessee. Note that Nashville is in Central time, and Knoxville is an hour ahead in Eastern time.

6000 N Terminal Pkwy, Atlanta, GA 30320 This is Atlanta's international airport. It is about a 3.5 hour drive from Knoxville. There are short flight connections from this airport to Knoxville's airport.
