FAQs

The Wedding Website of Nicole Nabozniak and Michael Taylor
See below for the answers to most of the questions we've been asked.
Question

What is the attire?

Answer

Attire is semi-formal or evening cocktail. The ceremony will be outdoors in a garden area, and the reception will be outdoors on a brick landing under a tent. There are stairs and plenty of gardens to explore.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Yes, we are registered at Crate & Barrel and Williams Sonoma. If you're not sure what to give us, we have a 'Newlywed Fund' on the registry page!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

While we'd love to have everyone and their entire families celebrate with us, we are not able to accommodate everyone. Just ask if you need to update your guest count and we can try and make it happen!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Although we love all of your children, we can only accommodate the individuals named on your invitation. Children of immediate family and infants under 1 year old only, please.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is a small self parking area on the east side of the house. Please do not park in the lot that Google Maps brings you to, as that is a university lot. We encourage you to carpool, take a Lyft/Uber, and travel responsibly. We hope to provide a Lyft discount code closer to the weekend, so check this website again closer to the wedding.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Our menu options will be available in stations. We will have representatives from the catering company on site that you will be able to clarify questions regarding your allergies with.

Question

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

Yes! We will have wine, beer, and liquor drinks available. We encourage you to plan a designated driver, or use the Lyft or Uber apps to arrange a ride from your lodging to the event.

Question

Active duty friends-read this

Answer

For our active duty friends, if there is a chance you can celebrate with us, please RSVP 'yes,' and let us know if anything changes as soon as possible. If you absolutely know you'll be underway/deployed/overseas and won't be able to attend, we completely understand. Please let us know as soon as possible if anything in your RSVP changes. We'd love to have you there!!

Question

When should we RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by August 31st. We know things happen and changes are a part of life, so let us know ASAP if anything changes. RSVP information will be on your invitations this summer!
