Matron of Honor
Mae is Lily's oldest of seven sisters. She is a wife and mother of three, and a sweet example of how to be a patient and godly wife and mom. Mae shared her love for kayaking and cool coffee shops with Lily. And Mae's closet is also Lily's first choice when she gets bored with her own clothes and wants something new. Lily is grateful for the example Mae and her husband, Ryne, have set for her and Nisu. They will be a godly resource for the two of them throughout their future marriage.
Co-Best Man
Brandon and Nisu met in their first year as financial advisors. They began as friends, then roommates, then brothers in Christ. Brandon is loyal, honest, and has supported Nisu through many difficult moments.
Bridesmaid
Katie is Lily's second oldest sister. She is a godly wife and has been married for two years. Katie and Lily shared an apartment together at the start of the pandemic for one year until Devin finally gave Lily the boot. Katie is a compassionate and kind sister, and Lily is blessed to have her as an older example.
Co-Best Man
Charles and Nisu met through their church's small group. Charles might be the closest thing Nisu has to a twin. Charles is also loyal, diligent, transparent, and has supported Nisu through difficult seasons of life.
Bridesmaid
Kathleen is Lily's favorite cousin...out of all the ones who live in New York. Kathleen has faithfully listened to Lily talk on the phone for hours at a time and is always ready to pick up a Facetime call when Lily is scared to walk into her apartment alone. Kathleen is one of the most loyal people Lily knows, and she feels blessed that through God's sovereignty, He put her in Lily's life.
Groomsman
Avel is Nisu's older brother. When they were children, Nisu would copy almost everything Avel did. Avel is hard-working, sacrificial, and an amazing cook. He has been an example to Nisu of hard work and hospitality.
Bridesmaid
Olivia was an answer to Lily's prayer when the Lord brought them together as roommates during their time at UF. Olivia has put up with many things Lily does such as her flowers always falling off the balcony, her hatred for lizards, and her tendency to leave dishes in the sink. Olivia was the sister Lily didn't have while at Gainesville and she is very thankful for the irreplaceable memories the Lord allowed them to have and the many future ones to come.
Groomsman
Jared is Nisu's landlord, friend, confidant, and mentor. He is joyful, sacrificial, wise, and fears the Lord. Further, Jared has been an example to Nisu of a god-fearing father and husband. Jared and his wife Stephanie are one of the couples Nisu and Lily met with for wisdom.
Bridesmaid
Carley is one the sweetest and most caring friends Lily has. The Lord graciously allowed them to come to UF to pursue the same program as well as be next-door neighbors. Lily's favorite memories include Carley walking over before the sunrise to do Bible time together in the morning before work and class. Carley is going to be a lifelong friend and, in an ideal world, would someday be neighbors with Lily again.
Groomsman
Ryne is Lily's brother-in-law and has become a loyal friend to Nisu. Ryne is humble, patient, and gentle. He has been an example to Nisu of a faithful dad and husband. Him and his wife Mae were one of the couples who Nisu and Lily met with prior to engagement.
