FAQs

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00 PM. Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior so you can find your seat. We would love for you to be there!

Question

What is the parking situation?

Answer

The Orlo House provides free valet. If you are staying at the hotel, there will be a shuttle going to and from the venue. You will receive a ticket number with the time you will need to board the shuttle.

Question

May I bring my children?

Answer

We love your children, but due to space, we are unable to host everyone. If your children are invited, it will be indicated on your invite. Thank you for your grace.

Question

May I bring a friend?

Answer

If your invitation states your name followed by "and plus one," then yes, you may bring someone. If it does not, we kindly ask that it just be you in attendance.

Question

When are RSVPs due?

Answer

Please RSVP no later than March 15th to help us plan accordingly. The RSVP link can be found on your invite and the website (next to the "FAQ" sign)

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The wedding is formal attire. For women, formal attire includes a floor-length gown, a fancy cocktail dress, or a dressy pantsuit. For men, formal attire includes a suit, dress shirt, tie/bowtie, and dress shoes.

Question

Can I take photos?

Answer

Yes, but please not during the ceremony. We want our guests to be present and enjoy the evening. For that reason, we have hired photographers to capture the wedding!

Question

What if I have dietary restrictions?

Answer

Please tell us as soon as possible so that we can accommodate you. Our emails are listed under the last FAQ.

Question

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

We are trusting the Lord to overwhelm us with joy. King David writes, "You have put more joy in my heart than they have when their grain and wine abound" (Psalm 4:7). There will not be alcohol, but plenty of other refreshments to enjoy.

Question

What time will the reception end?

Answer

The sendoff will take place at 9:45 PM, but you will not hurt our feelings if you choose to leave earlier (Nisu's bedtime is normally 9:00 PM)
