We're so excited to welcome you to Banner Elk for a full weekend in the mountains. For those arriving early, we'll be in town starting Thursday, the 3rd and plan to enjoy some of our favorite things...mountain morning coffee, runs, scenic hikes, and exploring the beauty of the area we have fallen in love with. Once RSVPs are received, we'll share an optional weekend itinerary for anyone who'd like to join in. Of course, we also encourage you to take time to explore, unwind, and experience the charm of Banner Elk at your own pace. This weekend is more than just a ceremony, it's about celebrating love, friendship, family and making meaningful memories together in a place that feels special to us. We'll also be hosting a relaxed brunch the morning after the wedding. Details will be shared following mailed out RSVPs. We can't wait to celebrate with you!

Come As You Are

After a long day of travel, we would love nothing more than to welcome you to the mountains and spend some relaxed time together before the wedding festivities begin. Join us at our Airbnb for a casual evening by the firepit and on the balcony. We'll have light bites, drinks and plenty of space to unwind, catch up and soak in the Blue Ridge air. This is a come-and-go gathering. No formal dinner, no schedule, just time to connect and say thank you for making the trip to celebrate with us. If you'd like to bring a favorite beverage to share, you're welcome to. Mostly, just bring yourselves. We can't wait to see you. (Address will be given when you RSVP)

Herron Wedding

Attire: Garden Party Formal. Think romantic, elegant, and comfortable for an outdoor celebration. Suits, dress shirts, and summer-weight fabrics are encouraged. For guests wearing dresses, flowing silhouettes and dressy sandals or heels are perfect. Please keep in mind portions of the event will take place outdoors on grass and gravel.

Guests are welcome to arrive anytime during this window to enjoy the grounds, settle in, and begin the evening at their own pace. We invite you to take it slow and soak in the setting as the celebration unfolds.

Ceremony

5:45 pm - 6:15 pm

Overlook Barn, Mary’s Meadow

Our ceremony will take place in Mary’s Meadow. Guests are invited to arrive a bit early to explore, enjoy a drink and light refreshments, and find their seats before the ceremony begins.

Cocktail Hour

Following the ceremony, please join us at the Cliffside Barn for cocktails, small bites, and live music. This is a time to mingle, wander the property, and enjoy the atmosphere before the evening continues.

Reception
