Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Nikki Betts and Nick Betts

Bar & Restaurant Recs

Once upon a time Nick was a Yelper and had the privilege of eating at some of the best establishments in San Diego. The link hosts’ some of his favorite spots around the city.

Coronado Island

Coronado Island

Coronado, CA 92118

Coronado is arguably the most beautiful part of San Diego, some might even call it Pleasantville because of its pristine streets, stunning views, and quiet neighborhoods. Coronado is home to two Naval bases to include North Island, which you may recognize from the movie Top Gun. So, you can bank on spotting all kinds of military aircraft’s soaring around, or even a BUDS class going through their Navy SEAL training. Recommendations on the island: - World famous Hotel Del Coronado — wander the grounds & beach (don’t bother with the overpriced drinks) - McP’s Irish Pub — good beer, good food good vibes - For your coffee fix: Better Buzz OR Trident Coffee — Starbucks who? - Lobster West — try the lobster roll & clam chowder - STAKE — best happy hour in town 4-6:30PM! Must try the Wagyu Popcorn 🤤 - Saiko Sushi — their specialty roles & marinates are incredible - Centential Park — view the SD city skyline - URT Shop — details below

URT! URT! Shop

URT! URT! Shop

1019 C Avenue, Coronado, CA 92118

Let the staff know you’re going to the Betts’ Wedding and receive 15% off your purchase! URT is THE lifestyle brand of San Diego. A brand near and dear to our hearts. It’s the perfect unique mix between ocean lovers/the amphibious lifestyle, and military — supporting various military/veteran nonprofits along the way. You will find our mark, a sea lion barking, on shirts, hats, cars, and windows all over town! Both of us have been highly involved with the creative side of the brand for several years now and the Urtnowskis are some of our dearest friends.

Ocean Beach

Ocean Beach

San Diego, CA

Our old stomping grounds! Get your surfer hippy on and be sure to spend some time in one of the most unique little beach towns you may ever encounter. Be sure to check out OB Noodle House and try the original Peanut Butter shot (which Skrewball whiskey was based off of). Catch the sunset at either Wonderland, The Holding Company, or the famous Sunset Cliffs.

La Jolla

La Jolla

San Diego, CA

This boujie part of town is definitely worth the visit. From the world famous Torrey Pines golf course, to the massive houses throughout the neighbourhoods, to the sea lions in the coves, there’s plenty to explore!

Tijuana

Tijuana

Tijuana, B.C., Mexico

Home of the original Caeser salad and Michelin starred restaurants. This frowned upon city is incredible and safety shouldn’t be a concern as long as you mind your own business. Don’t believe us? Just ask Nikki’s parents or cousin Kyle about their experiences! Eat and drink your way through the streets. Be sure to stop at Dandy Del Sur (Bourdain’s favorite bar)! If you decide to go, we suggest walking across as the pedestrian border and catching a cab/uber on either side. If this is a day trip you are interested in please don’t hesitate to reach out, we’re happy to provide more guidance!
