We need RSVP's by August 16th please for headcount and catering.
A mailed RSVP card will be provided with postage in your invitation. You will have to mail back the RSVP card to us, please.
Due to limited space at our venue, we unfortunately can't give everyone a plus one. If your invitation was addressed "& Guest", we have provided an extra seat for you to have a plus one. Those who are provided to bring a plus one make sure you let us know their names with correct spelling so we can assure no confusion on the wedding day.
Due to limited capacity not everyone is able to come. If your invitation was addressed as "The _ Family" or have your kids' names listed on the envelope, they are included in the guest count. Just note, that we do not have babysitting services. There will be available food options for kids, just note that you are interested in the children's menu on the RSVP card.
Both the wedding ceremony & reception take place at the same venue location. Tannenbaum Event Center 20007 Mt Rose Hwy, Reno, NV 89511 Yes, the venue is wheelchair accessible. There will be alternative ramps provided where there are stairs at both the front entrance and to the left side of the venue's building access to the back entrance.
We have been told there are about 80 spaces for parking. This should be enough but please plan ahead by carpooling or scheduling a ride service head of time.
There will be no provided transportation. Please schedule a ride share service ahead of time if you need transportation.
Guest arrival for the ceremony is at 4:30 pm to allow guests to sign the guest book, grab a refreshing drink, and mingle as they take their seats. The ceremony will start promptly at 5 pm.
The ceremony takes place outside on grass and the reception will be indoors. Fun lawn games will be available outdoors during cocktail hour and into the night. During the ceremony and daylight hours, it is advised to wear sunscreen as there will be no covering above you to shade you. During the night Tahoe/Reno can get a bit chilly as temperatures dip down. Make sure you come prepared with a light covering or jacket. Our Plan B in case of rain would be to move the ceremony indoors.
Cocktail Attire What is Cocktail Attire? Cocktail attire is suggested that men wear a suit or dress shirt and tie with dress pants and women wear a cocktail dress, nice pantsuit, or dressy separates. With it being Autumn, you might be interested in a moodier color pallet. Such as black, navy blue, dark purples, emeralds, and jewel tones.
There are no reserved hotel blocks. Please see the Travel page of the website for nearby hotels. Other hotel options are available through your own research.
Yes, but we need to know what they are. Our RSVP card has common restrictions you can mark. Depending on the restrictions, you will be offered a plated meal to meet the restrictions.
Yes, so please be responsible with your transportation situation.

If you order something from our registry, you have the option to send it to us directly! We will gladly accept them in person as well at the venue.
On Friday, the night before, we are going to have a meet and greet at The Depot Brewery & Distillery in Reno at 7pm. Anyone is welcome to come hang out with us the night before. Address: 325 E 4th St. Reno, NV 89512
The reception will end promptly at 10pm.
No, after the ceremony, cocktail hour will start. Both events are located at the same venue.
You will have a brief moment at the start of the ceremony to get a picture. We will ask you kindly not to take photos during the ceremony, as we have hired professional photographers. We don't want people to get in their way. After the ceremony you are absolutely welcome and encouraged to take all the photos and videos you want. We ask that you share them using the photo QR code that will be provided. We would love to relive our wedding through the eyes of our guests!
Of course, you can post the pictures, it is fun to see the night through our guest's eyes. We would love for you to capture the fun and love. Just remember we are paying hired professionals to capture the love too. We understand everyone can't be everywhere at the same time. Currently, our wedding hashtag is #NikkiandMiles2024 We are working on creating another one and are open to feedback & suggestions! :)

The average weather for September in Reno would be: Min: 56* F Avg: 66* F Max: 79* F The average weather for September in Tahoe would be: Min: 33* F Avg: 70* F They say September in Tahoe after Labor Day weekend will have warmer weather and some sunshine. Autumn in Lake Tahoe is "The Second Summer". Nights can get chilly and the weather could be unpredictable. Please check the weather before travel.
