Museum of Pop Culture (Seattle Center and PacSci)
This is where Kenneth proposed in 2019. He is also part of the teacher advisory board here. Located in this area is also the iconic water fountain and newly reopened Pacific Science Center (PacSci). Would recommend for families.
Terra Plata
This is our favorite restaurant for any special occasion. It's farm to table, menu changes seasonal, and weekend brunch is to die for. They also have roof top seating available upon request.
Pike Place Market
Great place to see view of the puget sound, local vendors, delicious food, and the FIRST Starbucks. The gum wall is also located in this area, you can access the waterfront, and ferry terminal to Bainbridge Island.
Funko Everett
Great place for any kid (young or old). You can find limited edition of Funko's here!!!
Seward Park
We've walked this 2.5 mile loop many times. Great views, paved walking area, great place for individuals or families. Parking limited.
Gas Works Park
This park was featured in the movie 10 Things I Hate About You. This is a great place to fly kites, has a walking trail, updated playground, and overlooks Lake Union and South Lake Union.
University of Washington
University of Washington is a picturesque campus with a gorgeous view of Mt. Rainier on a clear day. While we didn't attend school together, we both received our Masters in Teaching here. If you like to shop, check out Uvil located about 1.5miles from campus. Recommend driving, lots of hills to walk back up.
Historic Downtown Snohomish
If you love PIE and ANTIQUING, this is the place for you. This is a far drive from Seattle, but well worth it.
Seattle Mariners
For three days only, check out the unstoppable Seattle Mariners on July 25, 26, and 27. They're so good that tickets will be a whopping $10 per tickets. Get 'em while you can, most likely they won't sell out. But honestly, the food is really great!
