Optional welcome event for anyone in the Bay Area or anyone arriving on or before Saturday and wants to meet before the ceremony. Friends and relatives both welcome! We'll have celebratory drinks and some snacks but we recommend eating dinner before arriving.
12:30 pm - 2:00 pm
Brunch for the families to meet each other. All relatives are invited, but no worries if you can't make it because you're arriving on Sunday.
3:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Semi-formal: suggested ladies wear dresses and gentlemen wear a suit and tie or sports coat. However, feel free to wear what makes you most comfortable.
The ceremony will be held at the Fourth Floor North Gallery in San Francisco City Hall. All guests will be required to pass through security to enter the building. Once inside the building, take the elevator to the fourth floor. There will be signage for where to find the North Gallery. The area will be roped off and chairs will be set up for our party. Please arrive 10-15 minutes early to leave time to go through security on the first floor and find your way up (plus even more time for parking if you plan on driving). We will have a photographer during the ceremony so please don't take out your phone to film or take photos during the ceremony! We will have an hour to take photos together after the ceremony where you're welcome to take cell phone photos.
4:00 pm - 5:00 pm
After the ceremony, we will be taking pictures for around an hour. Please stay a few extra minutes so we can get a photo of everyone attending. After the group photos, please feel free to explore the city or enjoy a drink at Wayfare Tavern. The private reception space will be open to us starting at 5pm.
5:00 pm - 9:00 pm
The dinner reception will be held upstairs in the Sequoia room. Food will be family-style with vegetarian entree options. Note that the restaurant is about 2 miles away from SF City Hall and it does not have a parking lot and little to no street parking so we suggest taking either public transit or an Uber/Lyft. If you are driving: the two nearest paid parking garages are: - 655 Montgomery St - 750 Kearny St.
