Question

What type of plugs are in Ireland?

Answer

Ireland uses Type G electrical plugs, which have three rectangular pins in a triangular pattern, identical to the United Kingdom. The standard voltage is 230V at 50Hz. Visitors from most countries outside the UK will need a plug adapter, and those from110V regions (like the US) may need a voltage converter. If you are traveling to another part of Europe before or after the wedding, please note that most other countries use Type C and Type F electrical plugs, with a standard voltage of 230V and 50Hz frequency. Type F (Schuko) is the most common, featuring two round pins with side grounding clips.
