FAQs

The Wedding Website of Nicoletta Di Rito and Matias Correa
Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Costa Rica has a tropical climate. November marks the end of the rainy season so you can expect a mix of sunshine and occasional rain. Temperatures are typically between 70 and 85 degrees F.

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The wedding ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outdoors, while the reception will be in a covered semi-outdoor space.

Question

I have dietary restrictions/allergies. What's the best way to let you know?

Answer

The best way to let us know is through the dedicated space within the RSVP of our meal-based events. This will ensure we have an organized record and can accomodate your needs. Feel free to contact either one of us if you have any concerns!

Question

Do we have to stay at Hotel Costa Verde if we are attending the wedding?

Answer

We'd love to have everyone together but understand some might prefer to choose their own accommodation. There are several other hotels in the Manuel Antonio area that you can choose from!

Question

Do I need a converter/adapter for the electricity?

Answer

Costa Rica uses 110 volt, 60 cycle electricity, same as the US. Plugs are typically the 2-pronged flat type, so US travelers will not typically need a converter or adapter.

Question

What currency do they use in Costa Rica?

Answer

Costa Rica’s national currency is the colón (plural: colones), but dollars are widely accepted in tourist areas and some other locations. It’s worth noting, however, that some businesses may not take bills larger than $20. Also, when paying for goods and services in dollars, you’ll likely get your change in colones.
