STRONGLY RECOMMENDED. This is the best airport to fly into. While there are others, this one is less expensive than flying directly into Manta, and significantly closer in proximity to Manta than flying into Quito.

Old Mariscal Sucre International Airport (UIO)

Flying into this airport requires a much longer trip to Manta, compared to flying into GYE. However, Quito is the capital of Ecuador and you can spend some time sightseeing here before traveling to the wedding.

Airport to Manta

Regardless of where you fly into, you have public transportation to get you to Manta. "Reina del Camino" bus service is a trusted way to travel between cities. You may purchase your bus ticket in advance using the link below, or at the bus station. You may also look into a private car service. Please visit FAQ's for more information.

Uber is accessible while in Ecuador. However, if you will not have wifi/data, you may have to take a cab. Therefore it is recommended to always have some cash on hand.
