We met in Brooklyn, NY in 2014 and had an instant connection. We lived only a couple of blocks away from each other, but never crossed paths (most likely because we took different trains!). We had set a plan to meet for a drink at a local bar named Doris. When we first saw each other, we instantly broke out into the biggest dumb smiles. That first night we talked about anything and everything. We couldn't wait to see each other the very next day and every day after that.

It was Anthony's first trip to see Nicole's home town near Palm Springs, California. The trip was filled with meeting friends and family and exploring many desert landscapes. On the day before we flew back to Indy, Anthony asked Nicole to go for a morning hike through the Indian Canyons. As the day grew warmer and Nicole's energy level wained, Anthony pushed her just a little farther to climb higher for a more amazing view. Sweaty and exhausted, we found a giant rock to sit on and take a rest. As we gazed out on the beautiful desert-mountain landscape, Anthony asked Nicole if she would share with him every moment like this, and all others to come, for the rest of their lives. With joyful tears in her eyes she shouted YES! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in Indy!
