Will the hotels do late checkout?

Answer

If attending Sunday brunch, make sure you request late checkout at your hotel and/or store your luggage before coming to brunch.

When does the wedding start?

Answer

We plan on starting the ceremony at 6pm. You will be able to enter the museum starting at 5:30pm. The ceremony will be brief. After the ceremony, you will be able to grab a drink or two and talk with other guests. Dinner, dancing, and fun to follow.

What time does the reception end?

Answer

Officially 10:30pm, but there's always plenty to do in Austin, so the party doesn't have to stop at that time.

What should I wear?

We are encouraging attire from the range of cocktail to semi-formal (not tuxedo formal). We understand that it's Texas and Austin and some people may want to venture outside of our suggested range.

Is there free parking available?

Answer

Yes, there is free parking available at the museum garage--just tell the attendant that you are a guest of the wedding.

Is there transportation provided to/from the wedding?

Answer

No, but there are several ride share options available (such as RideAustin, Lyft, and Uber).

What happens if it rains?

Everything is indoors--no problem!

Yes! All floors of the museum will be open. Feel free to see and learn about Texas. Note: drinks are not allowed in the exhibits.
