We're getting married!

Many are surprised we're not already married since we've been like an old married couple for years now 😋 We first met in the Fall of 2005 in the Austin Wind Symphony. Nicole remembers a cute new trombone player being introduced while Robert remembers just wanting to remember how to empty his spit valve 😄 Nicole, being the extrovert that she is, invited Robert to MANY band social functions and we quickly became good friends. More than friends? Well, this is where our story gets more complicated. We really were just the best of friends for years (much to our friend's and family's amazement). Finally, in 2016 we decided to give it a go and see what a romantic relationship would be like. Could this Longhorn and Aggie, Country and City, Woodwind and Brass couple figure out how to make things work? Some say friends can't be in a relationship while others say that being friends is the best foundation for a relationship. We are happy to say that the answer is a resounding YES, the rest remains to be written, but we can't wait to find out!
