Stampede Park
The Stampede grounds come alive with a lively midway, delicious food stalls, and multiple concerts, creating an electrifying atmosphere that showcases the true spirit of Calgary. If you pre-purchase a Rodeo or Grandstand Show ticket it will provide you with admission. Similarly, we recommend visiting a local Co-op grocery store to pre-purchase items like snacks with admission deals, ride tickets and more.
Free Stampede Breakfast
One of the largest Free Stampede Breakfasts will be at Chinook Mall on the morning of July 6th. Cowboys and Cowgirls will start lining up at 7:00 AM for pancakes & sausages (with all the fixings!), fresh Tim Hortons brewed coffee, live entertainment, a Kiddie Corral, special offers for stores within the mall, and so much more! If you can't make it here for the 6th check out the link for the dozens of other free breakfasts around the city!
Banff
Banff is a picturesque town in the Canadian Rockies, surrounded by breathtaking mountain peaks, turquoise lakes, and lush forests. The town of Banff offers shopping, sweet treats and an outdoor hot spring! If you're up for a longer drive, be sure to visit the iconic Lake Louise or hike into the splendour of the Canadian wilderness.
Drumheller
Drumheller is located in the Canadian Badlands, known for its rich paleontological history and stunning landscapes. It is home to the Royal Tyrrell Museum, which houses an extensive collection of dinosaur fossils. The dramatic hoodoos and layered canyons that surround Drumheller offer a mesmerizing glimpse into the ancient geological formations. This is Justin and Nicole's favourite Alberta landmark!
Calgary Tower
The Calgary Tower is an iconic landmark that graces the city's skyline, offering panoramic views of Calgary and its breathtaking surroundings. Standing at 191 meters tall, it provides visitors with a unique perspective of the city's vibrant downtown core, the picturesque Bow River, and the majestic Rocky Mountains in the distance.

Shawnessy Barn
The venue for all events happening on July 6th, 2024. Located at the entrance to Shawinigan Park, this rustic barn was built in the early 1900s and is a lovely showcase of how romance meets the rugged spirit of the Calgary Stampede.
Wilder Institute/Calgary Zoo
The venue for all events happening on July 7th 2024. The Calgary Zoo is home to over 4,000 animals. Supporting the zoo provides world-class animal care, ensures the future of endangered species, inspires young minds, and creates cherished family memories.
