Our first photo together- Nicole decided to visit the guy she met in Vietnam. Only to spend the whole trip sick, but Hjalmar took great care of Nicole

We first said "I love you" after a date night of kayaking in the Potomac and biking around the monuments in DC.

Our first of many trips was to Puerto Rico. Together we have traveled to 10 countries, 9 states, and one territory.

After two years of long distance, Nicole moved to the Netherlands and they settled into an apartment in Utrecht in 2021. Note Hjalmar's Covid hair.

Our first time in Florence was during a 3 week roadtrip in 2021. On the ride home Hjalmar and Nicole decided they wanted to get married and would start planning together.

Both Hjalmar and Nicole love to both push each other to be their best athlete. Pictured Hjalmar's first 10k and Nicole's first sub 2 hour half marathon.

Hjalmar and Nicole got engaged on May 7th, 2023 in Olympic National Park

Now they live together in Seattle where they enjoy tending their rooftop garden, hiking, and trying out all the local breweries and wineries.

They were married in a small civil ceremony on August 8th, 2023. They look forward to celebrating their marriage in with all of their friends and family in Florence!
