Due to the distance and planning an international wedding, we ask for an early RSVP date of May 1st.
Rick Steves recommends 4-6 months in advance. We recommend setting google/Skyscanner flight alerts for the flights you want and to buy when they are low.
Our ceremony and reception will be outside. In case of inclement weather the reception will be tented.
Unfortunately we are only able to accommodate the children in the wedding party at our reception.
The dress code for the wedding is formal or black tie. Our venue is a historic Tuscan villa and we hope guests dress for the occasion. We ask that men wear a tuxedo or a suit and tie and women wear an evening gown or midi or knee-length cocktail dress. Please no jeans or hats. Temperatures in Florence at the end of September are on average around a high of 80F/28C and a low of 64F/17C. There is normally a 30% chance of rain, but the reception will be tented.
Please speak to the bride or groom if the invitation did not include a plus one, but you would like to bring one. Our venue does have capacity limits so we want to ensure that we meet that requirement.
There will be hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour followed by a sit-down dinner with traditional Tuscan food. There will be vegetarian and vegan options. Please note in your RSVP if you have any dietary restrictions or allergies so we can let the caterer know.
Traveling to celebrate our marriage is enough of a gift. We are incredibly grateful to be surrounded by family and friends in such a beautiful place and you spending your time and money to join us is beyond generous.
We will have a shuttle service running from Piazza de' Frescobaldi leaving at 2:30 pm. There are 40 seats available, this is a first come first serve policy. This is tracked via your RSVP, once all spots are take, we will remove this option from the RSVP. For the way back there will be 2 options, one leaving at 10:00 PM and one leaving at 12:00 am (midnight) dropping you of at the same location you got picked up in the afternoon.
